Photos from Griffith Park

I am living a very busy life and have less time to spend On Computer lately, so just you get more photos from me. These are from the Griffith Park "Star Party," a monthly event where a local astronomy organization's members bring their telescopes to Griffith Observatory so that members of the public can try looking through them.

I don't have a ton of pictures of the event itself, but it's a great excuse to get big old vista pictures of Los Angeles. Here they are:

Here's a picture of the Star Party itself: DSCF0093

The Star Party is free... the only challenge is getting up to Griffith Observatory to see it. I recommend the shuttle which leaves from Vermont/Sunset. Driving in the park and around the Observatory in particular on the weekends is a nightmare.

I made this weekend into the Donut County experience by also visiting Randy's Donuts for the first time. I'll post about this later. It was appropriate of me to visit so many places related to the art in Donut County this weekend because we JUST spent last week hanging out with a young relative of mine who finished her first videogame on her own... and it was Donut County!!! Incredible. Verified "playable by a six-year-old."
