Perfect Tides: Station to Station is out!
I have to plug this one because I've heard so much good stuff about it from so many people I trust. I haven't played it myself, but it's next on my list of narrative games to check out. I've been seeing people playtest and praise it for what feels like the better part of a year.
Perfect Tides: Station to Station is a sequel to a narrative game called Perfect Tides by Meredith Gran, the comics creator behind Octopus Pie, which ran for ten years during the 2000s and 2010s and is an incredible time travel experience for anyone who lived during that time - in particular, people who were newly trying to navigate adulthood during those years, haha. I recommend checking it out if that's who you are - or if you're a younger person, I guess. I don't know. It's worth a read!!! I devoured a huge chunk of it a few years ago.
Anyway, Station to Station is up for a narrative IGF this year alongside a bunch of games that released in 2025. It's always a big deal when a game that's up for an IGF actually comes out so we can all play it, haha! A lot of games get submitted to the IGF competition in the years before they come out.
I'm excited to finally play this one!!
