The site is here. Cannot recommend this enough. A perfect slice of the Old Internet, updated as recently as 2016.
This site includes various reviews and descriptions of physical toy virtual pets and seems to be around 20 years old. It's got tons of photos of hidden features, debug access instructions (including for tamagotchis which need their cases unscrewed and their PCBs fiddled with to access debug mode), and even a few downloadable utility programs which can be used to unlock features in old network-connected tamagotchis for which Bandai has ceased support. Amazing. There's also an incredible gallery of mostly-terrible photos of modded tamagotchis.
I adore this entire thing and am sad that the owner doesn't seem to have cataloged Digimon toys very well. Would have liked to see their opinion on all the battling stuff!
