A fucking incredible website trying to advertise the concept of crossing oceans on a freighter
Every part of this website is hilarious.
Ominously, it has not been updated since before the COVID vaccine was available. (2024 note: between when I posted this link to Cohost and posted it to this blog, the entire site came down, which is why the link is now to the Wayback Machine!)
Perplexingly, one of the two "short" around the world cruises they offer is longer than their "long" around the world cruise.
Freighter traveling is still however, best enjoyed by independent travelers who know how to spend time on their own, who like to organize their own shore visits, and who are flexible enough to accept possible last minute changes to their schedule as well as oscilations in service and food on board.
I am dead. This is the best way to describe "you are gonna be on a fucking freighter, you may just have to entertain yourself for 80+ days on this freighter" in marketing lingo!
