I am temporarily going to live in the San Gabriel valley

I currently live in West LA, but we have to be out of our apartment for a little over a month, so we're heading to live temporarily in the San Gabriel valley, the valley which contains Pasadena, San Gabriel, Alhambra, and a couple other cities and neighborhoods you may have heard people talk about when they discuss LA.

The SGV is generally known for having incredible food - in particular, Chinese food. There's a ton of competition there, so almost any place you can visit has something going for it, quality-wise. If it's been around for a while, it's been around for a reason.

We're frequently in the SGV to visit family, so I'm already totally spoiled with frequent access to these restaurants. So despite the inconvenience of having to pack up almost everything we own and leave our home, I'm excited to be spending time in a place that is probably the best place to get food in LA. And it's a place I already am comfortable in and enjoy. Nice!

Anyway, usual warning that the stuff I post is probably going to be more brain-dead for a bit, because of how busy I am. And maybe because I'll be spending more time eating a lot of extremely good food.
