Had a very crazy day

Today I got to see large amounts of Highly Activated Grandmas. I mentioned this in my post about the big rally downtown several months ago, but we've entered a kind of four-quadrant protest age, and the quadrant with the most time and energy is retirees, and they are showing up hardcore. I think the "do not split" of America in 2025 is going to be the old and the young not splitting, so a certain extent.

The grandmas, where they show up (not the spicy zone downtown... elsewhere) are writing all sorts of stuff about social security and "I believe in science" on their signs, but they also love puerile insults. I cannot tell whether this indicates a generational difference in humor, but they absolutely love to call people chickens, and turds, and so on. We must embrace the puerile humor of the grandmas, I think.

I saw one older woman today who showed up with a huge cart full of pre-prepared signs. She just gave them to anyone who asked. There were organizers at the place where I was at, but they lost control of the crowd and the crowd took over four solid blocks of road and completely blocked traffic, and I saw the signs that lady passed around just sort of migrating up and down the road, and I doubt she got any of them back. There were undoubtedly several thousand people, which is completely insane for my location. Really wild shit.

We were four hundred feet from the police station and the police never came out.

It's all great work. I'm feeling good today. My feet are tired and very nasty. I was all over the city for a variety of reasons but I was on my feet for about 10 hours total. We are gonna be doing a lot more of this!!
