I should have posted this last week, but the Possessors producer, Myriame Lachapelle, posted this amazing blog post about the game team. You should check it out!
The vast majority of the people on this list either no longer work at Heart Machine, or are finishing their last few weeks at the studio. You should definitely click through on their names and check out their work/profiles if you're interested in what you've seen from them in the game. A lot of us need work! Everyone here is very talented!!
There was some press coverage about so many of us being laid off before the game shipped. I can reiterate that we did get profit-sharing on this game. The contract that explains how the profit sharing works is long and complicated, so I won't summarize it here, but I can just say that if you all buy this game then I will eventually get some of the dollars. When teams do a layoff around release it can make buying the product feel icky, sometimes, but we all think that you should buy Possessors, and we don't think anyone should feel icky about buying it. Shit is Morally Square with us (to the extent that it can be while you're jobhunting, haha).
