Blendo WAV Tool
Brendon just posted about the tool he built for us to do audio file navigation inside Skin Deep.
Skin Deep was made with the help of a whole pile of unique tools developed by Brendon to solve specific issues on the project. This tool was probably the tool I used that changed the most over the course of the project. It allows us to search every line in the game via the written text content of the line, the string name, and the audio filename. This made searching for audio files and analyzing problems with narrative and audio MUCH easier. Brendon added features to it constantly throughout development.
If you are lucky enough to work with a tools builder like Brendon... it's a dream! I was so lucky to be able to do narrative work with someone who cared about tooling and who wanted to make my job easier.
I cannot wait for Brendon to write about the localizer tool he made - it made string updates and loc file management as simple as possible and is the tool I used the most.
